‘ls’ is not recognized as an internal or external command

Yeah .. we all do it, admit it or not.

But I am tired of doing it so here is my work around.

  1. Create a file called ls.bat
  2. In the file put just dir
  3. Save that file to a folder in your System Path
    1. I saved to c:\users\<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps
    2. Alternatively you can put in a different file and save to your System Path
  4. Next Enjoy
