Our CEO worked in a different state but wanted to use our phone system to receive\u00a0calls and wanted to give out a Toll\u00a0Free number so people are not discouraged\u00a0from calling him because to the long distance charges (and probably a little bit of vanity of having his very own 800 number). This is how I did it on our Cisco System running version 8.5.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log into Call Manager<\/li>\n<li>Go to call routing<\/li>\n<li>Translation Patterns<\/li>\n<li>Find Translation Pattern and edit<\/li>\n<li>Go down to Called Party Transform Mask under Called Party Transformations<\/li>\n<li>Change to extension or Directory Number you want the line to route to<\/li>\n<li>Update Description to assist to keeping track<\/li>\n<li>Save<\/li>\n<li>Test<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I needed to take one of our 800 Numbers and route it directly to the CEO.
